Focusing on the field of ecology, environment and information technology, the Innovation Center gathers superior academic resources, promotes organized research, and carries out frontier scientific research and disruptive technology development. The Innovation Center is devoted to obtaining symbolized achievements with global impact in fundamental research and application research.

SEVENTEEN projects received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSF) in 2023, and THIRTY-THREE NNSF funded Projects have been approved since the Innovation Center established.

The Innovation Center has led and participated in FOUR Pioneer and Leading Goose R&D Programs of Zhejiang province.

The Innovation Center has launched TWENTY internal projects, including FOUR "Gongjian Plan" projects and SIXTEEN "Pre-Research" projects.
