On November 1st, 2019, the Eco-green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone in the Yangtze River Delta was established. The 2,300-square-kilometer demonstration zone-Shanghai’s Qingpu district; Suzhou’s Wujiang district in Jiangsu province; and Jiaxing’s Jiashan county in Zhejiang province-sits in the middle of the Yangtze River Delta.

On February 20th, 2022, Zhejiang University signed a cooperation agreement with Jiashan County to co-build Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang University.

On September 6th, 2022, the Center held the opening ceremony at Xiangfudang Sci-tech Green Valley in Jiashan County.

On October 17th, 2022, Future Food Laboratory, Future Health Laboratory, Future Design Laboratory and Future Regional Development Laboratory of the Center were launched.

On February 17th, 2022, the Innovative Achievement Transformation and Validation Center was unveiled at the Jiashan City Promotion Convention.

On March 7th, 2023, Future City Laboratory and Future Environment Laboratory of the Center were launched.

On March 9th, 2023, the Center signed an agreement with Zhejiang University National Science Park to jointly construct the Future Innovation Park.

On May 18th, 2023, the Guigu Branch of the Future Innovation Park was officially opened.
