Biography

Ma Yiyi is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Hundred Talents Program of the Institute of Municipal Engineering, School of Architecture and Engineering, Zhejiang University. She graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta. Her main research interests are urban drainage, including water-gas and water-sand two-phase flow in pipelines, urban storm-water disaster prevention and control, etc. She has published more than 20 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Journal of Hydraulic Engineering (ASCE) and Journal of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE). She has made academic reports in IAHR, ASCE and other large conferences for many times. At present, she is the reviewer of several international journals such as Physics of Fluids, Journal of Hydrology and Journal of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE). She is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Canadian Society of Civil Engineers(CSCE), International Water Association (IWA), Member of Youth Workers Committee of China Association of Urban Water Supply and Drainage, member of China Youth Committee of International Water Association (IWA China-YWP), member of Chinese Society of Mechanics.
